Building Energy and Air Conditioning Technology (Bachelor or German Diplom Degree)

Shape the energy transition!

Are you looking for a degree where you receive a crisis-proof engineering training as an expert in energetic systems - then you've come to the right place.

Not only, but above all, against the background of the energy transition that has been initiated, there is an interesting and inexhaustible field of activity for our graduates of the Building, Energy and Air Conditioning Technology course. The energy consumption for buildings and commercial / industrial processes amounts to approx. 65% of the total energy consumption in Germany. There is considerable potential here for energy savings and greenhouse gas reduction through the use of new technologies and the use of renewable energy sources.

In addition to the currently scarce resources for day-to-day business, the redesign of the systems will also require considerable personnel capacities. During your studies, you will be taught extensive theoretical fundamentals, which are underpinned in all subject-specific lectures by practical experiments in a regionally unique laboratory hall.

In our degree program you start your studies and by the 4th semester you can finally apply for one of the two degrees "Bachelor of Engineering" (6 semesters) or "Dipl.-Ing. (FH)” (8 semesters).

For even more practical relevance, you can also study dual. This means you study with us and at the same time you go through apprenticeship or master training in connection with a practical company.
