Engineer Pedagogy (Bachelor)

The engineering education course combines engineering studies with pedagogy.

With a Bachelor of Engineering degree, as a graduate of engineering education, you are an expert in imparting technical knowledge.

So you can

  • Work as an engineer in a company in the technical area with various specializations
  • or start in the area of ​​employee qualification and further training.

At the same time, after completing your bachelor's degree, you have the option of entering the 7th semester of your teacher training course at TU Dresden and then taking the state examination. You then have the opportunity to switch to civil service as a teacher and train young people.

The degree programme is part of the OptLA-Project of the Saxon Ministry of Science and the Arts (Sächsisches Ministerium für Wissenschaft und Kunst - SMWK).

The course is aimed at those interested in technology who, after completing their bachelor's degree, can choose whether they want to focus their careers on the technical field or on training and further education. An university entrance qualification or completed vocational training are admission requirements.

  • The wide selection of possible specializations in the course of study enables many different career paths after graduation.

The option of direct entry into the teaching degree at the TU Dresden with a subsequent state examination makes the engineering education course even more attractive.
