This interdisciplinary degree programme is a combination of building complexes and structural technology, as well as how they are integrated. You will be provided with subject-specific knowledge of energy consumption and energy storage in buildings. The aim is, through improved digital communication, previously individual systems will be integrated into a complete smart system. Examples of this would be, for instance, creating a successful energy management system which both deals with load-dependent energy prices as well as reducing demand on the national grid at peak times, through an enhanced complete system (house + eCar + energy providers).
As a student of this programme, you should be technology-orientated, able to think across a range of associated disciplines, and able to work academically.
With the knowledge acquired from the degree and the degree itself, there will be nothing stopping you from going on to undertake a PHD.
