ZwIKSprache 2 (2019b) - Abstract in English

The analysis of intercultural observations made by German students during their internship in Spanish companies is the topic of this paper.

The first part analyses how the German students searched and applied for internships whereas the second part deals with the intercultural experiences, especially the conflict situations made in the Spanish company. The third and last part tries to answer the question to which extent intercultural preparation before going abroad was helpful in the intercultural daily life.

Source for this investigation were the internship reports written by the students. They were analyzed by the method of qualitative content analysis.
