Your Application

1. General application procedure with foreign University Entry Certificates

If you apply with non-German application documents, please use the web-portal for international students provided by at uni-assist e.V. - except for the degree programmes listed below under 2. & 3.*. Uni-assist e.V. checks foreign qualifications and grades, assesses your language skills and reviews whether you are fit to study at UAS Zwickau with your educational qualifications. General requirements

To study at a German University you need to provide evidence of an appropriate university entrance certificate/qualification. If you are unsure your certificate/qualification qualifies you to study at a German University you can find further information here.

If, in accordance with the assessment guidelines of the Central Office for Foreign Education Bonn (ZAB), an indirect university entrance qualification applies for you, you must first complete a one-year FSP course including the FSP exam (Feststellungsprüfung) at Studienkolleg first. Our cooperating Studienkolleg is Studienkolleg Zittau/Görlitz.

If you do not meet the German language requirements for direct university admission and at least have a German B1 language level, you can attend a preparatory DSH course also at Studienkolleg.

The FSP and DSH courses are free of charge. You cannot apply for free courses directly. Admission is subject to a prior study application at our university.

Specific requirements

Some degree programs also require specific prerequisites. These can be, for example, certificates or internships and work experience. You will find this information in the description of the degree program (see WHZ courses of study).
