Building Energy and Air Conditioning Technology (German Diplom Degree)

As a result of the recently announced change in energy policy, Utilities and Environmental Engineering will play an important role in the future. Graduates of this program work in a wide variety of fields relating to plant operations: production, design and testing of components (boilers, heat exchangers, etc.), planning, monitoring and energy management. Typical employers include planning offices, public utility companies, hospitals and construction companies involved in the technical equipment of buildings or plant construction. In the first part of the program, you will learn about the basic elements of process engineering and mechanical engineering with a specialist emphasis on the fields of thermodynamics and fluid mechanics. In parallel you will attend modules in business and business law. For individual specialisation in the second part of the course you can choose from a wide range of other modules from various specialist field.
