Change of perspective

You've got your degree in the bag - but you actually want to do something completely different (at first)?

International programmes

The ASA programme facilitates learning, qualification and engagement spaces for young people who want to understand global contexts, ask critical questions and stand up for a just world. Learning together for participation and responsible social action for sustainable development, that is the core of the ASA programme. Participation includes several seminars, a three- to six-month project internship and reflection on one's own learning process. All three programme points build on each other and strengthen long-term commitment to a just and sustainable world.

Get involved in the Mercator Kolleg for international tasks: During a 12-month programme, the fellows work in two to three international organisations, in globally active non-governmental organisations, non-profit organisations or commercial enterprises. A practical question designed by the fellows themselves determines the choice of work stations worldwide. The fellows receive a monthly stipend. In addition, funding is available for stays abroad, conference participation and language courses.

Eleven young German lecturers are on the road throughout France during the school year (from September to June). At general and vocational schools, they inspire children and young people of all ages about the German language and culture through play and innovative methods and whet their appetite for an international mobility experience. The teachers receive a stipend for their work.

We are looking for motivated native German speakers between 20 and 30 years of age who have completed their university studies (at least a Bachelor's degree), both in and out of school. Applications are generally accepted until the end of February each year.
