The city of Zwickau has approximately 92.000 inhabitants and is located in near the Ore Mountains and the Vogtland, in the geographical triangle where Saxony, Bavaria and the Czech Republic meet. In summer, nature lovers and biking fans can enjoy the spectacular Mulde River Valley region, while winter sport enthusiasts will also find a wide range of activities nearby Zwickau is well-known as the birthplace of the renowned composer Robert Schumann, and home of the famous automobiles Horch, Audi and Trabant. Today, the popular Volkswagen car models Golf and Passat are manufactured here.
