• Detection of the catenary via a laser scanner (step 1)
  • Lifting and pivoting motion of the current collectors on the underside of the catenary (step 2)
  • raising the guiding plates (step 3)
  • Pivoting motion towards the catenary (step 4)
  •  Lifting motion to connect the trolley-heads to the catenary  (step 5)
  • Lowering the guiding plates (step 6) and venting the cylinders for pivoting motion for ease-of-movement
  • Now the vehicle is able to drive electrically
